Cooper made an immediate impact as a freshman at Nokomis Regional High School, averaging 20.5 points, 10 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 3.7 steals, and 3.7 blocks per game. His stellar performance led Nokomis to its first-ever state championship. His achievements earned him the Gatorade Maine Boys Basketball Player of the Year award, marking the first time a freshman received this honor in Maine.

Montverde
At Montverde Academy, Cooper quickly became a standout player, competing against the nation’s best talent. In his junior year, he averaged 16.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.7 blocks per game, leading Montverde to an undefeated 30-0 season and securing the program’s eighth national title. His play earned him the Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year, Naismith Prep Player of the Year, and a selection to the 2024 McDonald's All-American Game, solidifying his status as the nation’s top high school player.

Durham
Enrolling at Duke in June 2024, Flagg made an immediate impact as a freshman. He averaged 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, leading the Blue Devils to the ACC Regular Season title with a 19-1 conference record. His outstanding performance earned him both ACC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors, joining an elite group of players who have achieved this feat.
